Remote Principal Software Engineer - React and Agentic AI

• At Creative Chaos, we are building next-gen digital products and are looking for a Principal Software Engineer (ReactJS) who can lead from the front, mentor teams, and help us push boundaries with Agentic AI-powered systems.
• This role is ideal for someone who blends deep frontend expertise with architectural thinking, leadership, and exposure to intelligent, autonomous AI-driven workflows.
• Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of software engineers through continuous guidance and training.
• The candidate will architect, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

• The candidate will integrate AI agents with frontend applications using APIs, event-driven architectures, or LLM-based services.
• Ensuring AI solutions meet performance, security, and ethical standards is a key responsibility.
• The engineer will write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests (90%+ coverage).
• Close collaboration with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders is required.
• Tuning applications for performance, security, and accessibility compliance is part of the role.
• The candidate will maintain systems, fix issues, and manage technical debt.
• Direct communication with clients and providing regular status updates is expected.
• Managing code versions and workflows using GitHub and related tools is part of the job.
• Researching emerging technologies and continuously upgrading skills is encouraged.
• Participation in technical interviews and evaluating candidates is also a responsibility.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• The candidate must have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, and Context API is essential.
• Solid experience with HTML, CSS, and modern UI development is required.
• Hands-on experience with design systems such as Material-UI, Atomize, or similar is necessary.
• An understanding of accessibility standards and security compliance is important.
• Experience writing unit tests with high coverage standards is required.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools is necessary.
• A basic understanding of backend technologies and RESTful APIs is required.
• Proven experience working with or building Agentic AI systems is essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are required.
• The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership presence and influence within engineering teams.
