Remote Python Developer

Description:

• The Python Developer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Python-based applications and systems.

• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• The role requires writing clean, maintainable code, conducting testing and debugging, and participating in code reviews.
• The developer will collaborate with client data teams to understand data needs and stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of solid Python and Django development experience is required.
• Experience with ETL processes to ingest, transform, and save content from multiple data sources is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with data workflows and data pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
• Experience with JSON-based APIs and Microservices is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and JQuery is necessary.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Search engines, such as Solr or Elasticsearch, is required.
• Experience with developing and deploying applications to the AWS Cloud is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working with Agile or SCRUM methodologies is required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments with at least 1 year of working experience is necessary.
• Experience with code repository technologies such as Git is required.
• Candidates must have the ability to work with technical staff to develop new web applications and resolve customer complaints.
• The ability to participate in the development of software documentation is necessary.
