Asteri is an AI-native Work Intelligence and Orchestration Platform designed for large enterprises to enhance work performance and identify opportunities for AI augmentation.
The company is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their engineering team and help define and build the quality assurance strategy from the ground up.
The role involves ensuring the reliability and quality of the AI-native enterprise platform in a fast-paced startup environment, focusing on high-impact automation for production releases.
Responsibilities include defining and executing quality strategies and test plans, building and maintaining an automation suite for API and UI tests, integrating automated tests into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines, designing automation approaches for production releases, performing manual testing for new features and bug fixes, and collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and platform teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience automating browser-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks such as Playwright.
Experience with automated API testing and validating complex cross-service workflows is required.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment while balancing speed with high quality is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable operating as the sole QA engineer, taking full ownership of quality practices within a senior engineering team.
