The QA Engineer will work on a small but effective Quality Assurance team to evolve current QA practices to exceed industry standards for Software as a Service systems.
The role involves continuously monitoring and improving the ability to develop high-quality software due to the mission-critical nature of the software used by customers.
Key responsibilities include producing clear diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans for QA systems, following architectural guidelines, and using AI for effective test coverage.
The QA Engineer will write test automation that validates across the entire stack, including front-end, backend, and database, and will also write meaningful automated tests and organize manual test cases as necessary.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including support and customer success, is essential, along with providing progress and performance updates to senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in software testing, preferably within SaaS or technology-driven organizations, is necessary.
Experience writing automation in modern frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright is required.
Familiarity with Relational Databases such as MySQL or Postgres is essential.
Experience with alternative datastores like OpenSearch or Redshift is a major plus.
A strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are necessary.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively across teams.
