Description:
- Master Works is seeking a QA Integration Engineer to ensure the robustness, reliability, and security of enterprise integration flows and middleware components on the IBM webMethods integration layer.
- The role involves developing comprehensive test plans, automating API verification, and executing rigorous scenario-based testing across various platforms and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, with at least 2 years focused on middleware, microservices, and API integration testing.
- Direct experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or integration middleware ecosystems (IBM webMethods, Software AG, or similar).
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.) and writing complex SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of API authentication protocols and distributed system architectures.
- Preferred certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (Advanced Level), Postman API Fundamentals, IBM Certified Associate (webMethods).
- Skills in automated testing scripts (Python/JavaScript) and CI/CD test automation are preferred.
