Description:
- Baselane is a banking and financial management platform for individual landlords and real estate investors.
- The QA Lead will work in an AI-first engineering environment, focusing on both hands-on automation and team leadership.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in software quality, with 2+ years leading QA teams while remaining hands-on.
- Strong experience with Playwright (or similar) for test automation using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs, including test data management.
- Proven ability to coach manual testers into automation and integrate tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents for test maintenance.
- Strong communication skills to influence quality practices.
- Experience testing AI/LLM-powered features is a plus.
- Nice to have: Experience in FinTech, performance/load/security testing, and visual regression testing.
