Description:

Reedsy is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.
The company provides tools and resources for authors to create beautiful books and has a community of 5,000,000 authors.
The role involves collaborating with development and product teams to ensure software meets high-quality standards.
Responsibilities include manually testing across different platforms and devices, validating new features, and flagging visual elements or functionality for improvement.
The engineer will contribute to creating a consistent user experience across apps, perform regression testing on existing features, and write and maintain automated end-to-end testing.
Additionally, the role requires triaging user-reported bugs by capturing reproduction steps, writing failing tests, and communicating issues with the development team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in writing and maintaining automated tests as well as manually testing software.
A good understanding of UI/UX design is required.
Applicants should possess a good, critical eye for detail.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Enjoyment of remote work is essential.
