  • Mainspring Energy is seeking a strategic and technically hands-on Salesforce Platform Lead to own the direction, architecture, and development of their Salesforce ecosystem.
  • This role will serve as the most senior Salesforce expert in the company, driving platform vision and execution while partnering closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Field Operations, and Enterprise Systems.
  • The position is expected to grow to lead a team of Salesforce admins, developers, and contractors as the platform and company mature.
  • Responsibilities include defining and driving the long-term roadmap for Salesforce, leading technical architecture decisions, developing standards for data governance, and evaluating new platform features.
  • The role involves translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, overseeing CI/CD workflows, and monitoring platform performance.
  • The Salesforce Platform Lead will partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities, serve as a trusted technical advisor, and provide clear communication of system changes.
  • Mentoring junior admins and developers, defining roles and processes, and participating in hiring and onboarding efforts are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 10+ years of experience managing and developing Salesforce systems in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • A strong knowledge of business development, sales, and marketing processes is required.
  • Proven success in owning platform architecture and leading major Salesforce initiatives through design and implementation is essential.
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Salesforce Platform Developer, System Architect, Advanced Administrator) are strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning, Flow, APIs, and integrating Salesforce with ERPs and other SaaS platforms is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security model, and deployment practices is required.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills are essential, with the ability to balance competing priorities and communicate effectively.
  • Experience working in or supporting high-growth hardware, energy, or manufacturing organizations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Marketing, and Service Cloud is required.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in mentoring others and stepping into formal people management roles is preferred.

Benefits:

  • The salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $170,000 a year, adjusted based on local market conditions and employee experience.
