• SwissBorg is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to contribute to the back-end development of its flagship app.
• The app has over 790,000+ verified users and offers competitive pricing and liquidity across 16 fiat currencies for purchasing 90+ cryptocurrencies.
• The role involves building and owning products, with immediate visibility of the impact of deployed code.
• The technology stack includes Cats Effect 3, Tapir, Sttp, Fs2, Pekko, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and utilizes microservices, Event Sourcing, and Reactive architecture.
• Responsibilities include identifying backend architecture requirements, solving complex problems in finance and distributed systems, writing automated tests, optimizing code performance, supporting junior team members, owning services from design to deployment, and contributing to technical architecture improvements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have extensive experience with Scala.
• A strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial thinking is essential, with a focus on customer value.
• A keen interest in Crypto/Web3 is required.
