Remote SDE II - Python Developer

Description:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance software systems to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate machine learning models and data pipelines into production systems.
• Work with Product & Engineering teams to integrate solutions into products and services.
• Develop and manage data pipelines for large datasets, ensuring efficient data handling.
• Architect and implement scalable software systems, optimizing existing systems and building new features.
• Manage databases and caching systems (e.g., MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch) for efficient data storage.
• Deploy infrastructure solutions on AWS or GCP, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Conduct experiments to improve system performance and reliability.
• Communicate technical details to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Stay updated on software engineering best practices and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, focusing on system design and coding in a product development environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python or relevant languages, with experience in building scalable systems.
• Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and understanding machine learning model deployment.
• Proficiency in Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience optimizing infrastructure and software deployment for efficiency.
• Optional: Familiarity with modern machine learning technologies like Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, MLflow, and Hugging Face.
