Remote Security Engineer/ISSO Support

Description:

• Seeking a Security Engineer/ISSO Support to join a federal data engineering team.
• Responsible for protecting sensitive financial data and ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship and Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in federal information security, preferably in an ISSO role.
• Deep knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and ATO processes.
• Hands-on experience with Zero Trust Architecture on AWS.
• Familiarity with OWASP ZAP, SAST/DAST tools, and AWS security services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to produce security documentation.
• Must work 8am-5pm Eastern Time and have an active federal public trust suitability determination.
