Instrument is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a part-time contract role focused on developing a complex multi-agent simulation engine driven by generative AI.
The role involves designing multi-agent architecture, managing interactive loops, and ensuring efficient communication with large language models.

Requirements:

Strong programming background with production-grade code capabilities.
1-3 years of experience in building and deploying LLM-backed applications.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with familiarity in modern reactive frontend frameworks (preferably Angular v21).
Experience with agent frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
Understanding of context and latency optimization for LLMs.
Experience in designing guardrails for agent actions and outputs.
