Description:

  • AOA is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to develop the native Android experience for a custom ARM-based embedded device.
  • The role involves low-level hardware integration and companion mobile app development, focusing on an offline-first, modular system with encrypted storage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building production Android applications in Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience with custom, embedded, or non-phone hardware, including integration of device hardware like cameras and sensors.
  • Strong understanding of Android fundamentals, architecture, and offline data management.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
