Remote Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Description:

• DaCodes is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) with strong backend experience to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud solutions.
• This role is hands-on and focuses on AWS development, infrastructure as code, security best practices, and automated deployments in production environments.
• The engineer will work closely with backend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-architected cloud solutions.
• Key responsibilities include designing and integrating cloud components using AWS services, developing AWS Lambda functions, implementing automated deployments, defining and managing cloud infrastructure, developing backend services, managing AWS networking and security, and building CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch is required.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation is necessary.
• Backend development experience in C#, Python, or Node.js is essential.
• Solid knowledge of cloud networking, security, and Linux/Unix systems is required.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines is a must.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and scalability are important.
• A proactive mindset and sense of ownership are essential.
• Intermediate English language skills are required.
