We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and implement scalable, performant, and reliable backend systems that support our growing user base.

The Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to develop and launch new features.
The role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while maintaining high testing coverage.
The engineer will partner with DevOps to optimize infrastructure, manage costs, and improve system monitoring and alerting, such as using Datadog.
Additionally, the engineer will design and implement APIs and integrations to ensure secure and robust data flows across the system.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting.
Experience in shipping production applications using TypeScript and Node.js is required.
Applicants should have experience with distributed systems and task scheduling systems.
A strong understanding of PostgreSQL is necessary, along with experience in query optimization and handling complex database interactions.
Familiarity with Inversify for dependency injection, session management, and IoC containers is required.
Candidates must be familiar with creating and maintaining APIs, handling authentication, and securing data flows.
