As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work closely with your squad and the Staff engineer, participating in bi-monthly rituals to share insights and align technical direction.
The role involves building efficient and loosely coupled services while ensuring a seamless transition with zero downtime and no revenue loss.
You will be responsible for reducing complexity, increasing adaptability of the codebase, and guaranteeing high performance and reliability in production environments.
The technical environment includes Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, GCP, Kubernetes, and more.
You will work in an agile "build it and run it" environment, producing clean and well-organized code while supporting colleagues and fostering a learning environment.
English proficiency is required as the team is international.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in backend engineering, particularly with Python and related frameworks.
A strong understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture is essential.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly GCP, and container orchestration using Kubernetes is required.
Candidates should be able to produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code.
Strong communication skills in English are necessary for collaboration within an international team.
