• As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with your squad and the Staff engineer, participating in bi-monthly rituals to share insights and align technical direction with the overall vision.
• The role involves ensuring a seamless transition with zero downtime, reducing complexity while increasing codebase adaptability, and guaranteeing high performance and reliability in production environments.
• The technical environment includes Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, GCP, Kubernetes, and more.
• You will work in an agile "build it and run it" environment, producing clean and organized code while supporting colleagues and fostering a learning atmosphere.
• English proficiency is required as the team is international, with members located in various countries.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a strong passion for creating systems and producing clean, consistent, and well-organized code.
• Experience in building and operating efficient, high cohesion, low coupling services with a focus on security and privacy is essential.
• Ability to facilitate discussions around complex issues and suggest improvements for existing designs and architecture is required.
• Candidates should be able to explore technologies with significant potential impact for the team and contribute to high-impact chaos migration.
• Strong advocacy for prioritizing tasks that optimize delivery is necessary.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory due to the international nature of the team.
