Description:

  • Join the engineering team focused on Fintech, Checkout, and Promotions as a Senior Backend Engineer.
  • Design, build, and scale backend systems for payment experiences, checkout flows, and financial services.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in production backend systems.
  • Strong experience in building scalable backend services using modern languages (PHP, Go, Java, C#).
  • Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and experience with high-scale backend systems.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient production code.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party platforms.
  • Familiarity with caching technologies, queues, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with automated testing and modern CI/CD pipelines.
