CYBRET AI is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to work remotely, preferably from Norway or Europe.
The company is focused on building Autonomous Security Infrastructure for organizations in complex, distributed, cloud-native environments.
The role involves designing and building services, data pipelines, and APIs that support autonomous security reasoning.
Responsibilities include maintaining core backend services, implementing scalable architectures, and ensuring system reliability and performance.
The engineer will collaborate with AI engineers, security engineers, and product teams to translate complex security and AI logic into robust backend systems.
The position requires ownership of services from design to production and iteration.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong experience as a senior backend engineer in production environments.
Excellent software engineering fundamentals and system design skills are required.
Experience in building distributed systems and high-throughput APIs is necessary.
A strong ownership mindset and the ability to operate independently are essential.
Experience with cloud platforms, security-critical systems, or data-intensive products is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
