Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations Expansion (Mexico)

Description:

• CoinTracker is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for the Integrations Expansion team in Mexico.
• The role involves owning and delivering new integrations for blockchains and exchanges using the existing integrations platform.
• The engineer will collaborate with engineering, customer experience, and product teams within CoinTracker.
• Participation in hiring efforts to scale the Integration Expansion Team is also expected.
• The company is a globally distributed team focused on making cryptocurrency portfolio tracking and tax compliance simple.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of non-internship experience as backend software engineers.
• Experience as a tech lead or team lead is preferred.
• Strong computer science and system design fundamentals are required, along with the ability to write high-quality code and value software testing.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with third-party APIs are preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP and cloud fundamentals is preferred.
• Candidates should be drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment.
• Understanding of blockchain data and web3 is strongly preferred.
• A background in data engineering and experience working closely with customer support teams is a plus.
• The ability to work effectively in a remote setting and overlap with core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM Pacific Timezone is necessary.
