• As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, architect, and build resilient and scalable systems for Doxel’s AI-driven construction platform.

• The role involves collaborating with product, frontend, computer vision, and 3D teams to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Responsibilities include designing and scaling backend systems, developing high-performance APIs, optimizing data pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and performing code reviews.

Requirements:

• You must have 8+ years of professional experience as a backend or systems engineer.
• Strong proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, or Node.js is required.
• A test-driven development approach is essential; you should prioritize writing tests before code and value code quality.
• Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems is necessary.
• You will lead an end-to-end product development team and set high standards for Doxel.
• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable APIs and microservices is required.
• Familiarity with computer vision algorithms at scale is a plus.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines with real-world complexity is needed.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and message queues is essential.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
• You should be comfortable with CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and automation.
• Excellent debugging, profiling, and system design skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to break down complex problems clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with computer vision models, 3D data, or unstructured media pipelines is advantageous.
