Remote Senior Cloud Data Engineer (branża Insurance)

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer for a project in the UK insurance sector.
• Project start: late July/early August.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3.5 years in cloud data (Azure/GCP/AWS).
• Advanced SQL skills and commercial experience with Databricks.
• Understanding of insurance industry concepts and experience in data migration and modeling.
• Ability to create and optimize data processing solutions (ETL vs ELT) and familiarity with cloud tools.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with SMP and MPP architectures.
• Understanding of secure data storage and processing mechanisms in the cloud.
• Strong soft skills and experience in direct client communication.
• Proficient in using Generative AI in software development and architectural decisions.
• Intermediate English (B2) and fluent Polish.
