Description:
- Seeking a Senior Cloud Database Administrator with expertise in MySQL, InnoDB, AWS RDS, and Amazon Aurora.
- Role focuses on evolving database operations into a reliability-first, automation-driven platform, troubleshooting complex issues, and automating manual tasks.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Database Administration, Engineering, or Reliability Engineering.
- Extensive hands-on MySQL experience with knowledge of InnoDB internals.
- Strong experience administering MySQL on AWS RDS/Aurora.
- Proven skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backups, restores, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Proficient in CloudWatch and Performance Insights.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, SQL, AWS CLI).
- Understanding of AWS security (IAM, encryption).
- Experience in Agile teams with strong communication skills.
- Preferred: Terraform, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
