We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our global IT team and facilitate meaningful transformation within our business.
The role involves replacing legacy systems, delivering scalable cloud-first solutions, and exploring AI's value for our people and customers.
You will work on real-world problems that affect our operations, sales, and service while collaborating with a team that values initiative, curiosity, and ownership.
As a senior member of the Engineering & Integration domain, you will mentor junior and mid-level engineers through knowledge-sharing and technical leadership.
You will be part of a small, cross-functional team working in a modern AWS environment, delivering solutions that impact millions of transactions globally.
Responsibilities include building modern cloud-first systems using AWS services, improving legacy software, contributing to DevOps practices, supporting AI initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
Strong experience with AWS serverless components, including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CDK.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and frontend frameworks like React.
Experience in building and deploying applications using Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK, Serverless Framework, or Terraform.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-native development patterns.
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment and provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Nice to have: experience in developing systems for authentication/authorization, exposure to AI developer tools, background in breaking down monoliths, experience with multiple AWS accounts, and previous experience in wholesale, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
