Requirements:

  • Expert-level SQL proficiency is required, with the ability to write efficient queries and debug complex logic across large datasets.
  • Extensive experience with Looker and LookML is necessary, including building data models and designing user-friendly dashboards.
  • Hands-on knowledge of dbt and the modern data stack, including tools like BigQuery and Fivetran, is essential for maintaining clean data pipelines.
  • Strong business acumen is needed to translate technical output into actionable insights and partner across teams.
  • Experience owning forecasting or planning models is required, with confidence in building frameworks even with sparse data.
  • Comfort with Python is necessary for reading and debugging scripts in analytics workflows.
  • A track record of independent ownership and the ability to influence without authority is essential.
  • Experience scaling data infrastructure in high-growth environments is preferred.

  • The compensation for this role is projected to be between $140,000 and $150,000 per year, including a mix of cash and equity.
