The Senior Data Analyst will play a leading role in shaping Daybreak’s analytics ecosystem, focusing on foundational infrastructure and strategic insight.
This position involves supporting the transition to the new OASIS platform, enabling better decision-making across teams, and leading forecasting and reporting at scale.
The role requires collaboration with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams, ideal for someone who thrives on complexity and can navigate ambiguity.
Responsibilities include acting as a strategic analytics partner, maintaining and evolving the analytics stack, improving forecasting models, optimizing workflows, translating business questions into analyses, leading cross-functional initiatives, and shaping the long-term vision for analytics.
Requirements:
Expert-level SQL proficiency is required, with the ability to write efficient queries and debug complex logic across large datasets.
Extensive experience with Looker and LookML is necessary, including building data models and designing user-friendly dashboards.
Hands-on knowledge of dbt and the modern data stack, including tools like BigQuery and Fivetran, is essential for maintaining clean data pipelines.
Strong business acumen is needed to translate technical output into actionable insights and partner across teams.
Experience owning forecasting or planning models is required, with confidence in building frameworks even with sparse data.
Comfort with Python is necessary for reading and debugging scripts in analytics workflows.
A track record of independent ownership and the ability to influence without authority is essential.
Experience scaling data infrastructure in high-growth environments is preferred.

The compensation for this role is projected to be between $140,000 and $150,000 per year, including a mix of cash and equity.
