Description:

  • Lead the modernization of legacy ETL workloads into scalable cloud lakehouse architectures on Azure.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for up to three engineers or developers, ensuring clear documentation and accountability for technical decisions.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience in data engineering and architecture with ownership of cloud architecture design decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Azure cloud data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, data modeling, governance, and lineage.
  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and strong communication skills in English.
