Remote Senior Data Architect (Azure)

Description:

• Seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to support clients in digital and data transformation.
• Responsible for architecting and implementing data platforms using Databricks and Azure to enhance analytics and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory).
• Expertise in designing data pipelines, data models, and analytics architectures in cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, Python, and/or Scala.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, access control, and compliance in Azure.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English (ideally C1).
• Future-oriented thinking around AI and natural-language querying.
