Description:
- Join carsales as a Senior Data Engineer, owning a significant domain of the data platform and serving as a technical anchor for the team.
- Collaborate with Product & Technology Teams to enhance customer experience through data-driven insights and scalable data platforms.
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in SQL and Snowflake, including clustering, pruning, and warehouse sizing.
- Expert-level experience with dbt Cloud, model architecture, and testing standards.
- Strong Python engineering practices for pipeline development.
- Proven experience with event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ or equivalent).
- Solid Postgres experience in production pipeline contexts.
- Familiarity with .NET / C# is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
