Description:
- Design and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines across various systems.
- Create clean, reusable data models for core entities.
- Implement data validation, lineage, observability, and automated quality checks.
- Partner with teams to deliver self-service datasets and well-documented data marts.
- Optimize performance and manage infrastructure costs.
- Apply data governance and security practices.
- Build robust ingestion patterns for various data sources.
- Utilize DevOps practices for data pipelines and transformations.
- Troubleshoot data incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior team members and establish engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong Python programming experience.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience with modern data warehouses or lakehouse platforms.
- Proven ability to build reliable ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Understanding of data quality, schema evolution, and monitoring.
- Experience designing data models for BI and analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and Git-based workflows.
- Strong communication skills for translating business requirements.
