  • Responsibilities include designing, building, and owning the data infrastructure, including pipelines, warehouses, transformations, and documentation.
  • The role involves migrating from legacy systems like PowerBI and streamlining analytics using Metabase.
  • The data stack must be structured to support AI query interfaces and self-serve reporting.
  • Ensuring data consistency, quality, and near real-time availability with a target of 99% uptime is essential.
  • Collaboration with product, engineering, and leadership teams is required to translate business questions into actionable dashboards and metrics.
  • The Senior Data Engineer will prioritize and manage incoming data requests from various departments within the company.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure is required.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms is essential.
  • The candidate must be comfortable acting as a sole owner and driving projects from ambiguity to structured delivery.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and converting requests into actionable data products is necessary.
  • A startup mindset characterized by proactivity, resourcefulness, and a strong desire to deliver is expected.
  • Candidates must be located in or near EU time zones.
