Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• These are hands-on, client-facing roles, with openings at senior or lead level to suit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have good experience with technologies and approaches typical in modern data engineering and reporting, including storage, data pipelines, and querying & reporting of analytical data.
• Experience with technologies such as Python, Spark, SQL, Pyspark, and PowerBI is required.
• A background in software engineering, including Front End technologies like JavaScript, is necessary.
• Candidates must be problem-solvers, pragmatically exploring options and finding effective solutions.
• An understanding of how to design and build well-structured, maintainable systems is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work are required.
• Candidates should embrace the chance to try new things, learn new skills, and grow their experience.
• It would be beneficial to have experience with relevant cloud services within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with common vendor products such as Snowflake or Data Bricks is a plus.
• Experience working with CI/CD tooling is also advantageous.
