Remote Senior Data Scientist / Analyst, Finance

Description:

• The Senior Financial Data Analyst will build and maintain the financial reporting layer, ensuring accurate and clean financial reports from raw data.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in data analysis/science or financial analysis with experience in reporting for finance teams.
• Expert in SQL and capable of complex data joins.
• Background in data science, including causal inference and predictive modeling in Python or R.
• Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and experience with cloud data warehouses like Databricks or Snowflake.
• High accuracy standards and ability to reconcile reports.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and translating between finance and engineering.
• (Plus) Experience with dbt or similar tools, familiarity with on-chain data, and experience in fintech or crypto.
