Description:

  • Join PENN Entertainment as a Senior Database Engineer in a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Focus on database architecture, performance, and cloud technologies, particularly in a Cloud Native (K8) environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Database Engineering experience, preferably with Postgres.
  • 5+ years working in AWS or GCP cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Python or Go.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, database monitoring, and architecture.
  • Familiarity with K8S operators, Postgres, Kafka, ETLs, and infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform).
