Remote Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• The candidate should have knowledge of Guidewire.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub is required.
• Experience in administering operating systems like Linux and Windows, as well as cloud computing with AWS, is essential.
• The ability to write scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell is necessary.
• Familiarity with provisioning tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or CDK is expected.
• Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation is required.
• A good level of knowledge in Kubernetes is necessary.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) is required.
• Proficiency in English at a level that allows for smooth communication (minimum B2) is essential.
• The role involves simplifying complex processes with user-friendly tools, creating or expanding environments for software development, and ensuring workstations for developers and testers are fully automated.
• The engineer will build and maintain tools for automating the software development process at all stages and ensure a balance between high security and team flexibility.
• The role includes onboarding new team members and preparing documentation, which may also include code as automation increases.
• The engineer will prepare various infrastructure components such as Reverse Proxy, monitoring services, or log aggregators and play a key role in the team, being a point of contact for all project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of Guidewire is necessary.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub is essential.
• Experience in administering Linux and Windows operating systems and working with AWS cloud services is required.
• The ability to write scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell is necessary.
• Familiarity with provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or CDK is expected.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation is required.

Benefits:

• The salary for this position ranges from 133 to 196 PLN per hour net + VAT for B2B contracts.
• For employment contracts (UoP), the salary ranges from 16,100 to 23,700 PLN gross.
