The role is for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will work in a compassionate and experienced team, contributing to a mission-driven company.
The position is full-time, offers excellent benefits, and allows for remote work from anywhere in the US, except Alabama, Colorado, or Louisiana.
The compensation for this role ranges from $160,000 to $170,000, with a transparent non-negotiation policy.
Responsibilities include piloting technical initiatives to improve FreeWill's cloud and engineering platforms, explaining complex solutions, fostering a culture of ownership and empowerment, and contributing ideas for product and technology improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with AWS, specifically with serverless architecture (API Gateway, Lambda, Cloudfront, S3), EKS, and RDS.
Prior production experience with the Serverless Framework is required.
Familiarity with modern DevOps toolsets for Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability is necessary.
Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash or Python, is essential.
Candidates should have experience scaling production cloud systems for complex web applications.
Demonstrated expertise in secure cloud architecture, network design, and IAM governance is required.
