Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is seeking a motivated DevOps Support Engineer to join their team and contribute to the success of their DevOps-as-a-Service (DevOps-aaS) product.
The DevOps-aaS platform offers customers a fully integrated cloud-native toolchain for efficient software development.
The role involves being part of a collaborative team that values innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
Key responsibilities include supporting and operating the DevOps-as-a-Service platform, handling customer requests and technical issues, applying bug fixes and patches, monitoring system stability and performance, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and deploying customer environments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (OTC, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native & container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell is required.
An interest in DevOps practices, automation, and agile collaboration (Scrum, Kanban) is essential.
Experience in configuring Linux-based server applications and databases in containerized environments is necessary.
A solid understanding of core network and transport protocols (TCP, UDP, SSL, TLS, DNS, HTTP) is required for secure communication.
Experience with web servers, reverse proxies, and ingress controllers (e.g., Nginx, Ingress, Load Balancers) is needed for traffic management.
Candidates should possess a motivation to learn, grow, and take on new challenges, along with a team-oriented mindset and proactive working style.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), data migration and backup processes, knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript, familiarity with JVM and Java-based applications, and the ability to configure and manage firewall rules.
