Description:

Lead the full-lifecycle rebuilding of global logistics eCommerce and custom ERP platform, migrating from a legacy PHP monolith to a modular Java/Spring Boot system.
Architect and deliver a Platform as a Service (PaaS) carrier integration platform with standardized REST APIs for global carrier integration.
Collaborate with technology and commercial leadership to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Inspire and manage a multinational engineering team of 30+ across multiple time zones.
Champion AI-augmented engineering throughout the software development lifecycle.
Define and own the technical roadmap, aligning engineering delivery with business strategy.
Establish engineering excellence standards and oversee developer productivity.
Provide executive-level visibility into engineering progress and performance.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in an engineering leadership role.
Hands-on experience with Java 17+, building high-throughput enterprise-scale systems.
Proven track record of leading and scaling multinational engineering teams.
Strong API design and development experience, specifically REST and event-driven architecture.
Experience with Agile environments, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
Familiarity with AI tools like Claude AI to enhance software development processes.
