Remote Senior FullStack Engineer: Offsite Discovery

Description:

• Constructor is a next-generation platform for search and discovery in e-commerce, focusing on optimizing metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit.
• The company has developed an in-house search engine utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, which powers over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages and 100 countries.
• The Recommendation Cross-Channel & Offsite Discovery team is building a platform for marketers to enhance multichannel e-commerce discovery.
• The Senior Fullstack Engineer will help build a Customer Dashboard interface for managing marketing campaigns.
• Responsibilities include implementing new features using TypeScript and React, collaborating with business partners, and communicating project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A strong foundation in client-side JavaScript and a computer science background, with familiarity in networking principles.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and frontend frameworks like React.
• Experience in building, maintaining, and debugging full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, or a willingness to learn.
• Good understanding of API design principles and familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions like MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Analytical skills and experience with SQL for dashboard reports and solutions (ClickHouse, Athena).
• Experience with major public cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and excellent English communication skills.
• Must be located within or near the WET timezone (e.g., Germany, Portugal) and available to work core business hours approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM WET.
