They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale core financial and loyalty platforms.
This is a full-stack role with a back-end focus, aimed at developing reliable, high-performance services while occasionally contributing to full-stack features.
The role involves tackling a $3.2T opportunity to redefine the super-premium financial services and rewards market.
Candidates must be able to travel to San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Austin for an onsite interview, with all travel expenses covered by Taekus.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, owning full feature delivery, contributing to system architecture, collaborating with frontend and mobile engineers, improving system reliability and performance, and participating in sprint planning and production support.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
Production experience in building backend systems using Python, ideally with Django, is required.
Experience in designing APIs, data models, and services using PostgreSQL and AWS is necessary.
A working knowledge of frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React is preferred, with the ability to contribute when needed.
Candidates should be comfortable working in distributed systems and high-availability production environments.
A strong ownership mindset is essential, with the ability to take backend projects from concept through production.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
