Remote Senior IP Network Engineer - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Description:

• Join Tieto Tech Consulting as a Senior Network Engineer for the Telecom Team at BICS, a leader in global communication networks.
• Work with major telecom operators to ensure quality, reliability, performance, and security of international communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom, IT, or Electronics.
• 5 years of relevant experience in Telecom/Internet service provider or vendor environment.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
• Cisco/Alcatel SR Certification at Professional/Expert level or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE & IOS-XR or Nokia SROS, IPV4 & IPv6 Routing protocols, L2 & L3 VPN designs, Traffic Engineering, Quality of Service, IP Sec configuration, and scripting skills (preferably Python).
• Advantageous: Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code, programmable interfaces, public cloud solutions (preferably AWS), and operation tools like Nagios, Splunk, Netcool.
