Description:

• The role involves building end-to-end AI systems, core microservices, and infrastructures to impact millions with personalized user experiences every day.
• The position is for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work on large-scale machine learning to enhance the podcast creation experience at Zencastr.
• The engineer will collaborate with a team of dedicated engineers, research scientists, and data scientists to prototype and productize new machine learning solutions at the intersection of speech processing and long-term user satisfaction.
• Responsibilities include designing, researching, and developing state-of-the-art machine learning applications and algorithms to improve the lives of podcasters and listeners.
• The engineer will collaborate with engineering partners to build new product features that enhance Zencastr’s various machine learning services.
• The role also involves driving forward audio and text capabilities within the machine learning team and working with experts in signal processing.

Requirements:

• A postgraduate degree in Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Python programming.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning research, specifically focusing on speech, is necessary.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in training or deploying neural networks.
• Significant experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn is required.
• Experience in building and operating production-ready machine learning systems is essential.
• The ability to lead the design and implementation of major software components, systems, and features is necessary.
• Candidates should enjoy quickly building model prototypes.
• Experience with cloud technologies like Google Cloud, AWS, or Modal is required.
• A self-starter attitude is essential, with the ability to drive projects and build positive relationships with partners and colleagues to solve complex multi-functional efforts with minimal mentorship.
