Remote Senior Network & Security Engineer

Description:

• Manage, maintain, and continuously develop complex network infrastructures.
• Build, configure, and operate modern firewall systems as a Network & Security Engineer.
• Plan, design, and implement WLAN and LAN networks.
• Analyze and resolve network issues (troubleshooting).
• Responsible for incident and change management in the network environment.
• Lead and coordinate virtual project teams on network projects.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to optimize operations.
• Provide technical support to sales teams during the pre-sales process.

Requirements:

• Degree (FH/ETH/TS) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with an IT service provider is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge in perimeter security, routing & switching, VPN, TCP/IP, WLAN.
• Certifications from Cisco & Fortinet; additional certifications like HPE or Alcatel Lucent are optional.
• Development experience is a plus.
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken.
