FutureFit AI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Platform Team.
The role involves building scalable systems that eliminate manual work and enhance integrations, significantly impacting team operations and user support.
The first 30 days will focus on learning and integrating with the team, participating in onboarding, and identifying areas for improvement.
From days 31 to 60, the engineer will take ownership of reducing manual tasks and creating technical requirements for vendor partners.
The final phase, days 61 to 90, will involve leading projects aimed at eliminating manual support tasks and participating in customer calls to clarify workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5-8+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or backend roles focused on operational tooling and workflow automation.
Deep experience in designing and automating workflows across cloud-based systems, preferably AWS.
Proficiency with event-driven architectures using tools like AWS EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, or Kafka is required.
Strong scripting and backend development skills in TypeScript for automating processes are necessary.
Experience in integrating third-party APIs and automating data flows across systems is essential.
Knowledge of queueing, retries, and idempotency patterns to enhance automation is needed.
Strong debugging and systems-thinking abilities to identify and resolve process bottlenecks are important.
Excellent collaboration skills to work across various functions such as support, customer success, and engineering are required.
