Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

• Build and operate backend services that move data through GrowthLoop.
• Improve service handling of incoming events, execute queries, and coordinate delivery.
• Address customer problems with practical solutions and measure their effectiveness.
• Maintain APIs and integrations across major cloud data warehouses.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to production issues and improve reliability.
• Identify and fix issues affecting performance, security, and ease of operation.
• Create shared components, automation, and documentation to streamline tasks.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Utilize AI tools in daily work and contribute to ML product development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of production coding experience, particularly in Python.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Proven track record in designing and maintaining backend services with on-call responsibilities.
• Familiarity with GCP or AWS and building reliable, secure, and observable systems.
• Ability to work with cutting-edge technology, including AI agents.
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
