Description:

  • Weave is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, Testing Infrastructure to develop internal tools and systems for software quality assurance.
  • This role focuses on creating tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure, collaborating with various engineering teams to enhance software quality.
  • The position is remote in India and reports to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in roles like Test Infrastructure Engineer, SDET, SRE, or DevOps Engineer with a focus on test automation and CI/CD systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Go and/or Python, with hands-on experience in building complex applications.
  • Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and experience with test automation frameworks across different layers.
  • Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating technical ideas to diverse audiences.
