As a Senior Protocol Engineer, you will develop and support the Rust-based components of the OP Stack alongside a team of protocol engineers.
Responsibilities include working with the OP Labs Rust Team on the continued development of Rust-based OP Stack components, owning features from design to implementation, implementing protocol upgrades, and supporting additional core development teams in contributing to the OP Stack.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in a software engineering role with a track record of shipping production code.
A deep knowledge of Ethereum and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is required.
A strong grasp of computer science and distributed systems fundamentals is essential.
Experience in writing performant and clean Rust code is necessary for this position.
