Description:
- Fliff is a social sports gaming platform that offers free-to-play games for sports fans.
- The DataFeed Team manages the systems for ingesting, normalizing, and validating external sports data.
- The Senior Python Engineer will build and evolve core systems for Fliff’s sports data platform, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of production experience with Python.
- Experience with backend services, Django, and asynchronous programming (asyncio).
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Strong SQL skills and experience integrating with external APIs and data providers.
- Ability to handle data correctness, edge cases, and production system monitoring.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
