Description:

A Senior QA Tester is responsible for designing and implementing testing processes and procedures for web and mobile applications.

Essential duties include developing and implementing software testing procedures, designing and executing test scripts, identifying and documenting software bugs, and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
The role also involves updating job knowledge, leading cross-functional teams, conducting peer reviews, implementing automated testing platforms, and improving operations through systems analysis.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Tester, including hands-on experience with automated testing tools, is necessary.
Experience with agile project management and workflow tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar is required.
Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems is essential.
Candidates must be proficient in various types of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
Experience with popular testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is required.
Familiarity with SQL and scripting, as well as an understanding of software development lifecycle processes, is necessary.
Candidates should have the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases, along with knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Familiarity with web application UI and UX best practices is also important.
