Description:
As a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be involved in the design, execution, and maintenance of both automated and manual tests and the related frameworks.
You will demonstrate expertise in automation testing, framework development, and process improvement.
You will evaluate application requirements and design documents while working with Product Owners, Systems Engineers, and Architects.
You will create, schedule, and complete both manual and automation functional tests on the given product.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and support tasks related to existing automation frameworks and building new automation frameworks from scratch.
You will report and validate complex defects with high quality.
You will maintain all sorts of documentation and document the removal of issues, defects, or uncertainties related to the software product.
You will communicate testing progress to all relevant stakeholders, including on-site and offshore team members.
You will track requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly.
You will guide and support fellow colleagues in their daily work and share your experience with them.
You will contribute to retrospectives and defect escape analysis.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of experience with testing web applications and web services, with at least 5 years using automation frameworks.
You should have knowledge of UI and API automation testing.
You must possess knowledge and expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as a whole.
You should have a good command of at least one programming language, such as TypeScript or .NET.
You need experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
You should have good SQL knowledge.
You must have hands-on experience with bug-tracking systems like Jira or TFS.
You should have work experience with Jenkins or a similar Continuous Integration tool.
You must have expertise in working with and building frameworks for test automation, including Playwright, Junit/TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, and Cypress.
You should have previous experience in projects/products where the QA role has also covered tests in performance areas, such as Performance, Load, and Stress testing.
You need to be familiar with API testing tools, such as Postman, Bruno, or Jmeter.
You should have experience using AI tools for building and maintaining automation test suites or frameworks, such as GitHub Copilot.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience is required.
You must have excellent written and verbal English skills.
