Description:
- The position is for a Senior React Native Mobile Engineer at webook.com, Saudi Arabia's leading event ticketing and experience booking platform.
- The role involves developing scalable, secure, and functional mobile applications.
- Responsibilities include maintaining and improving existing mobile applications.
- The engineer will utilize React Native to design and develop UI components for mobile apps.
- Writing effective, scalable, and reusable code to create interchangeable modules is a key task.
- The engineer will monitor and optimize application performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends is expected.
- The role includes compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with the product and operations team is necessary to provide guidance and execution on the product roadmap for building highly-scalable applications.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in developing mobile applications using React Native is required.
- Experience with iOS and/or Android application architecture and design is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of mobile development design patterns, components, tools, concepts, best practices, standards, and systems of record is strongly desired.
- A strong understanding of RESTful JSON web API design principles is essential.
- Familiarity with native mobile development (Android/iOS) and related technologies (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C) is a plus.
- Experience or exposure to back-end web engineering is beneficial, though not required.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git is necessary.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., MobX) and asynchronous programming is required.
- Solid experience in documenting software solutions using diagrams and flowcharts is expected.
- Experience in release management, online digital analytics, conversion optimization test execution, and social media marketing management is an added advantage.
- Strong multi-tasking, organization, and time management skills are required to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of user-centered design, usability engineering, and user experience principles is required.
- The ability to communicate and present to senior management is essential.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and accountable.
- A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience with React Native is necessary.
